| The 2004 IF Hall Of fame Winner is
"TDM-0600/03"
Grandchild of Staf Van Reet's Champion racer / breeder "Favorie", who is a full brother to 10X 1st Den Don and foundation breeder Big Tom.
TDM-0600/03 was raced by New York's Manny Parada. Flown as a young bird and held over to compete along with his established old bird racers, TDM-0600 proved she had the stuff right from the start. In her very first old bird race she scored 1st club / 1st Long Island Combine vs 1463 birds. In her second performance she scored 2nd club / 6th Suffolk Nassau Combine. In her third race she scored 2nd club / 4th Suffolk Nassau Combine. In her 4th race she continued to show her excellence scoring again 1st club / 1st Suffolk Combine. TDM-0600 had become a flying machine as only a yearling hen. I was very impressed by her because I knew that Manny's established old bird team had won dozens of club and combine races and several club and combine average speed awards and she was fighting for the front every time out. TDM-0600 is a straight bred Staf Van Reet like her grandsire Favorie and she showed her champion breeding right off.
Manny also tested her at the distance entering her into the 400 mile Three Bird Derby. Once again she was Manny's 1st bird to the loft scoring 5th in the race and winning a large part of the board.
I have received several good reports from around the country from fanciers first trying the Staf Van Reet pigeons and all were very pleasently surprised with their performance's. In the Boston Concourse we had a 200 mile winner by over 17 minutes, a 1st place winner by 6 minutes in Minnesota, a 1st place club and a 2nd place club / 2nd combine winner in New York and another scored 21st in New York's tough Viola Race. There were also many other club and combine diploma's I will mention in a later article. Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you for accepting my advise to try the Staf Van Reet pigeons. I knew they would score for you as thay had for me. Most of all, congratulations to Manny Parada for having a great year and handling The 2004 IF Hall Of Fame Winner!
